How Is the APY So High?
The high APY for anS comes from a combination of optimized yield strategies:
Depositing to the biggest validators: Angles protocol deposits S tokens to the biggest validators, ensuring the highest yeild APRs in the Sonic Network.
Unclaimed Yield from Non-Rebasing Tokens: When anS is held in smart contracts that don’t opt into rebasing, the underlying collateral still generates yield, which benefits the remaining anS holders.
These strategies ensure competitive returns for anS stakers while maintaining network security and decentralization.
Why Is My Balance Growing Slower Than the APY on the website?
Rebase events increase your balance, but the rate of growth depends on how much yield has been earned since the last rebase.
This means the growth in your anS balance may fluctuate in the short term. However, over time, the total yield aligns with the displayed APY, reflecting the protocol’s overall performance.
