Redemption
As a permissionless and decentralized protocol, anS allows anyone to redeem their tokens at any time. There are multiple ways to exit anS, but the Angles dApp provides the most straightforward path for optimal results without requiring users to evaluate all options.
Redemption Methods for anS
Instant 1:1 ARM Swap anS introduces lossless 1:1 redemption through the Sonic Automated Redemption Manager. Users can instantly exchange anS for S tokens with no slippage or price impact. While the anS ARM is initially operating at a smaller scale, it will expand with additional liquidity over time, ensuring seamless instant redemptions for all users.
Async Withdrawal Like other leading LSTs, anS offers asynchronous withdrawal from the Sonic Network through a withdrawal queue. This provides a fallback mechanism for large-scale redemptions when the ARM's liquidity is insufficient. Users can rest assured that the protocolβs staked S tokens remain accessible, with withdrawals processed within 14 days, even during high-demand market conditions.
DEX Swap anS benefits from deep liquidity in Sonic Network-based decentralized exchanges (DEXs), enabling users to swap anS for S tokens at the current spot price. While the rate may fluctuate based on market activity, arbitrage opportunities help maintain the peg near 1:1, ensuring stable and reliable liquidity.
Redemption: A Pillar of anS Stability
Redemption is a cornerstone of anSβs design, ensuring users can confidently hold anS knowing they can exit at 1:1 for S tokens at any time. This flexibility makes anS a reliable and robust liquid staking token, cementing its position as the ideal building block for DeFi protocols on the Sonic Network.
